This beautiful premium white porcelain mug is a tribute to the Xinzo de Limia screens.

The Screens are characters with a white suit, a colorful mask, a red cape with colored ribbons and bells. They dedicate themselves to chasing, with bladders in their hands, the well-known adult males who are not dressed up to carry them to the bar where they will pay with cups of white wine. They are also in charge of maintaining order and brightening up the party.

The Xinzo festival begins three weeks before Carnival Tuesday, with Petardazo Saturday; It is followed by Domingo Faraleiro; Next Saturday with the Meco Parade and Hanging; then on Domingo Oleiro to continue on Saturday of Mulleres and Domingo do Corredoiro.

The following week continues with the final stretch of the Entroido: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday of the Entroido and Tuesday, the most important day with the Great Parade of the Entroido to continue on Wednesday with the Burial of the Sardine and finish with the Piñata Sunday.

The Carnival or Entroido of Xinzo de Limia has the honor of being the longest Carnival in Spain.
