Design and Modeling All figures in De Rosa Collections are made in a purely traditional process which can be seen in every piece the work of carver and painter expert who gives them their color , achieving only works because no two pieces are exactly alike. In the pictures below you can appreciate the different stages of production.

Cast

The creation process starts from clay which allows our sculptors convey warmth and expressiveness to their works , reflecting everything in the same sense that only artists can offe


carving

Our works have a unique and unmistakable style that gives it , the fact that each is carved by highly skilled artisans, giving them life and grace in every corte.Cada dealer has a different style and although they should always fit the original model will become apparent differences between one piece and another .


Painting

Once the piece has been carved and then baked in its first stage (1000 degrees) the sponge to be colored by skilled painters work applying glazes brush is obtained.


Baked

After being painted figures should happen again to fire the kilns , this time 1100 degrees are needed to make the glazes used to achieve maximum brilliance and texture. Depending on the colors there carrying each piece to be baked Figures 3, 4 and up to five times since all colors not melt at the same temperature.



Application of precious metals

Finally the application of gold and platinum gives the piece the final spell, turning it into a gem ceramic.
