Celtic Labyrinth Meaning:
It is a symbol widely found in ancient Celtic burial mounds and even in famous cathedrals. It is said that for the Celts it meant the interior of the human being, the path of life surrounded by circles that represented physical, mental and spiritual learning. Many indicate that it could even signify the continuous cycle of birth, death, and rebirth; something deeply rooted in Celtic culture and which was celebrated within some, certain solar rituals and sacred dances. According to some historians, some labyrinths were made in such a way that at certain angles some of their sacred flora coincided: oak, ivy, maple and hazelnut. It is no coincidence that the Celts themselves defined this symbol as the endless circle, the path that we all follow after successive reincarnations.
