In Christian angelology, a cherub angel is a type of the second of the nine angelic choirs. They are considered the guardians of the glory of God. Its name means "coming" or "seconds". Are often represented in the shape of a child with wings, or only the head thereof.
They have a feature guardians and at the same time "gig". In Ezekiel 1: 9 tells of the cherubim that "their wings touched each other", so that the image of a homogeneous group occurs, forming a kind of "celestial chariot."
Its displacement is swift: "beings coming and going, as if they were lightning" (Ezekiel 1:14). According to Revelation speed is like lightning.
